It rains. I realise this should come as no surprise to me, but it does. It recalls that dismal winter in Seattle a couple of years back, when it rained every day for 93 days - starting with the evening that Charlotte got turned back from America. I don't venture outside, except perhaps to buy chocolate. I move a few more toys down to their cabinets, lift a few videos about. Speak to AL in the morning about Loaded - he informs me that FHM's 100 Sexiest Women In The World issue sells close on a million, and that IPC Music & Sports is no longer. Just Music. I would make several acerbic comments here about bad management on the part of certain IPC people, but won't. Decide not to see BL because it's raining too much, and also cos I realise I'm on a couple of tight deadlines - re: Sonic Youth biog for music3w and Creation article for amazon.com. Neither article comes even close to completion today. I have no memory of the evening. There is nothing memorable happening. Pick up a parcel from the Post Office which I'd been hoping would be the Polydor free CD bonanza, but is only Crossbeat magazine from Japan with an ET-written Courtney Love interview included. Sigh. Can't I rely on anything? At least Have I Got News For You is on television still.
