The Journals of Everett True

Sunday May 28

Jon helps me write some inane facts about Sonic Youth in the morning - this is the standard required from everyone on the 'Net, if they're not requesting straight advertising copy that is. Oh, it was fun I guess. This onerous task of detailing every last bloody track overgrown schoolboy Thurston Moore and co have released pretty much takes up the whole day. Sigh. In the evening, C's sister Vic's boyfriend Chris is celebrating his birthday so we all pile over to C's brother Rich's flat in Hove (Rich unaware of our presence as he's away with Emma). There we watch a DVD of "The Big Lebowski" - a fine film; when I initially moved over to Seattle I said I was going to take on the role of John Goodman, the fucked-up redneck bowler from that film - and eat a spicy over-priced Chinese. That's about it. The flat was freezing.

Oh, and for anyone keeping the score, it rained furiously both today and yesterday.
