30/12/99 Addendum to previous emails: There was a fish'n'chip shop only five minutes walk away from where we're staying. The jigsaw is glow-in-the-dark, not luminous. Kaikora is actually spelt Kaikoura. Charlotte would like to point out that by emphasising the arguments as I did, I'm not giving a fair portrayal of our usual mood on holiday. Which is true. |
