Unfortunately, Tony and his army of New Deal advisers have other ideas. What do you make?: Meals and snacks when hungry - drinks when thirsty. What do you love?: Music, carbohydrates, books, fresh air, hot baths, beautiful girls, downloading free music off the net. What do you hate?: Spiritual vampires. What do you listen to?: All sorts... Gregory Isaacs, The Abyssinians, Al Green, Popol Vuh, Bongwater, Leonard Cohen, Pentangle, Funkadelic, Outkast, Pram, Big Youth, Sly Stone, Coil, Missy Elliot, etc. What do you watch?: Coronation Street, Big Brother, Football, Blind Date, The One O'Clock News. What do you drink?: Guinness, Nettle Tea, Peppermint Tea, water. What do you smoke?: Nothing. What do you take?: Whatever I can get. Bifido Bacterium. What do you believe in?: Beliefs of all kinds separate you from life. When We Were 16 Where were you?: A few miles up the road from here.What were you?: About to become a 6th form student. What did you wear?: Black jeans, dirty old lumberjack shirts (before Kurt!), Jesus and Mary Chain T-shirt. What did you listen to?: Prince, The Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine, Nick Cave, The Telescopes, Leonard Cohen, The Smiths, Public Enemy. What did you watch?: Christ, I can't remember. Neighbours probably. And maybe Dynasty. What did you love?: Girlz, music, strong lager, my little sister. What did you hate?: Ugliness, superficiality. What did you drink?: Strong lager - horrible stuff like Grolsch. Lots of tea. What did you smoke?: Benson and Hedges (I think). What did you take?: A few magic mushrooms, a bit of pot. What did you want to be?: A Rock 'n' Roll star!! Who did you fight?: No-one - I've always been a 6ft weedy wimp who is very quick to avoid trouble. Who/What did you believe in?: Err... The Power Of Love. Where did you go?: To a lot of horrible pubs and clubs in the city centre. What did you learn?: A lot of Maths and Chemistry - and that love is painful and terrible but the only thing that redeems and transforms. Ahem. |
